CoFET-Retreat 2025 is at Hilo in the Big Island. Big Island known to the occupants as the mini tropical continent in the Pacific, is the biggest and highest peak of the eight island undersea mountain ranges that constitute the State of Hawai’i.
CoFET-Retreat brings together visionary leaders, international partners and key stakeholders to address most pressing challenges in agricultural science.
Our lead role is to help build scientific research alliances, linkages and collaborations of strategic mutual interest between AFRICA and Hawai’i – United States communities, on joint projects that advance sustainable novel science technologies in coffee, cocoa, sugarcane and horticultural commodities development, that guarantee shared value competitiveness, farm out-put vigor and profitability for livelihoods improvement at smallholder grassroots.
The 4-day long event will be full of learning new developments; novel science trends, on-station/on-farm activities, trade, fun and more.
